Craig Anderson
After being a back up goalie for the Florida Panthers, Craig Anderson was traded to the Colorado Avalanche and given the starting position. Many people questioned whether or not Anderson was good enough to handle the starting position. But he sure proved them wrong, already registering two shut-outs and putting Colorado at the top of the standings in the entire league. Anderson has stopped 157 shots out of 167 in the last five games. He is the number one goal tender in the league and has been named NHL second star of the week for three weeks in a row. Having a .935 save percentage and 2.09 goals against average, Anderson is off to a good start for the 2009-2010 season.

I have been going to a bunch of Panther's games lately and although I understand the game, I have not really watched hockey for years. You gotta give me the scoop on the best players. Who should I cheer for?
